This knee-length shirt dress is made from pure cotton, hand dyed using a time-honoured recipe of iron rust, jaggery, and natural indigo, all fixed using Harda — a fruit-based natural mordant known for enriching both fabric and colour. The resulting hues are rich, earthy, and deep — evoking the tones of twilight, soil, and sky.

Delicate floral motifs are block printed using the Ajrakh mud-resist technique, where every design is applied by hand with precision, and then preserved through multiple natural dye baths. This process takes time, skill, and immense care — making each piece truly one of a kind.
